Hello everyone, this is an unusual post. No stories today, just me.
The ingredients
Take three cups of terror and mix with seven cups of giddy enthusiasm.
This is the ideal ratio. Too much terror and you won’t get anything done, but not enough terror means you’re playing it too safe.
How to make it
Stir vigorously.
I created my best work ever this February. I started on the 1st, and everything was ready for the printers on the 28th. And the reason it took four weeks instead of four years was that I told myself that I only had one month to do it. And so I did.
Let the mix come to rest sometimes.
You won’t see the page for the new and amazing product I made, because I haven’t told the public about it yet. I quietly released it to my Mo’Cash, Mo’Joy subscribers on the 1st of March, and it will go Officially Live on the 14th. Because after stretching and pushing all month, I didn’t have the energy to do a big launch straight after.
But then keep stirring.
The other reason to not do a huge-ass launch right away was because I picked up another spoon and got busy. Together with Mars Dorian, Jade Craven and Jonathan Wondrusch, we have created a challenge to push all of us to increase out influence and spread our messages.
Stir vigorously.
It’s called The Create and Conquer Challenge. For six months we will be competing to see who can grow their metrics the biggest and turn up their volume to EAR-BLEEDINGLY AMAZING.
It’s going to be fascinating to watch. Firstly, we’ll all be using absolute transparency: publishing our stats every month so you can see how we’re improving.
Secondly, we’ll be pushing each other hard to excel. There’s a lot on the line, and none of us plan to lose.
Thirdly, we’ll be sharing our experiments… what worked for us to find and engage with our best audience, and what didn’t. Four different approaches for you to learn from!
